We gathered to celebrate 13 years of Bookleggers—Miami’s first and only free bookstore—and wow, what a night it was.

There were prints, tarot readings, flash tattoos, good food, great drinks, a DJ spinning all evening… but at the heart of it all? Books. Free books. And an incredible crowd of people who believe, like we do, that stories should be shared.

Bookleggers has always been about more than books—it’s about building community through access, generosity, and the magic that happens when people come together around ideas.

It was an honor to photograph the energy of the night. Every face, every conversation, every laugh between bookshelves reminded me just how special this city is—and how lucky we are to have spaces like this.
