Many people tell me not to mix my family photography with my commercial or portrait site. But even though I understand where they are coming from, I believe what I do is tell stories. So even though the stories are very different, I want to showcase how we can have a narrative with images, no diverse the story is.
I was at Dave Matthews and Tim Reynolds concert in NY. And a frase Dave said really stuck with me. “ In the end, we all came weeping out of somebody's vagina”. I laughed at first and then it hit me. Was is the one thing we all have in common? World leaders, lawyers, artists, astronauts, moms, dads, neighbors…. we were all once children.
As I get older I can see how childhood impacts many of the decisions we make in our lives. And that’s why I believe is an important story to tell, it’s the first chapters of the narrative of your life.
